About Us

The idea for the mi-Vibe initiative was birthed in fall of 2006 at a Midland Area Marketing Partnership meeting, a committee of the Midland Area Chamber of Commerce.  This idea quickly grew and joined forces with many area businesses and nonprofit organizations, and became a project of the Midland Area Community Foundation in November 2006.  The mi-Vibe initiative was launched into the community in February 2007.  There are many exciting ideas and plans ahead for mi-Vibe as the initiative continues to grow and blossom.  Our goal is to connect individuals, families, and employers to healthy resources within the Midland area.

To keep the Midland area community healthy and fit in order to create and sustain a vital, energetic, and physically fit populace that enjoys an excellent quality of life.
