Cancer Services provides compassionate cancer patient support programs, and promotes healthier living through cancer prevention education at schools, worksites and other locations, specializing in tobacco use treatment for a smoke-free community.
Chippewa Nature Center
CNC features over 15 miles of trails, 1400 acres, nature walks, field trips, workshops, school and scout programs and Nature Day Camp and a Nature Preschool, all to inspire people and institutions to protect the natural world.
Community Mental Health for Central Michigan (CMHCM)
Community Mental Health for Central Michigan (CMHCM) serves six counties, including Midland County, in the central Michigan area. Services such as therapy, therapy groups, drop-in centers, life skills training, and many others are available through CMHCM to qualifying Midland County residents. Mental health conditions are treatable, and, with an estimated one in four individuals affected, more common than most people realize. CMHCM is committed to educating the communities they serve and has a Speaker's Bureau at no charge for groups who wish to learn more about mental health conditions and the process of recovery from a consumer's point of view.

The Midland Amateur Hockey League is a non-profit 501(3)c Michigan Corporation operated by volunteers to promote youth ice hockey through education, training and team experience in the Greater Midland area.

MidMichigan Health offers a variety of exercise and recreation programs to help you manage a medical condition or just live a healthier lifestyle.   Visit and click on Support Services. The Midland Daily News is a daily newspaper which serves Midland and Midland County. The offices are located at 124 S. McDonald Street in downtown Midland. Although the offices are located in Midland; the paper is widely circulated around Midland County. The paper began in 1881 as the Midland Republican, and became the Midland Daily News on May 1, 1937. The paper is owned by the Hearst Corporation, acquired in 1979, which also owns other magazines and media outlets. Community Focused. Community Driven. Making a Difference Everyday.

The Country Club's Youth Program
The Midland Country Club Youth Fitness Program is designed to introduce our younger Club members to a new outlet of physical activity and recreation beyond their school’s physical education classes.  With that said, there are some students who do not participate in a physical education class at school, and it is with these children, the need for such a program exponentially increases. With today’s youth leading sedentary lifestyles, here at the Midland Country Club, we want to do our part to end this societal trend. We offer fitness programming options for youth with varying interests from training for a sport to simply achieving a healthier lifestyle.
